Most 'oud' on the market is a synthetic reconstruction. Ours is the real resin from Aquilaria trees in upper Assam — deep, animalic, almost sweet. We smoothed the medicinal edge that scares people off and lifted it with saffron and rose, so it reads rich and modern, not raw.
The oud from Assam, the saffron from Kashmir, the sandalwood from Mysore — three of the most prized naturals on earth, in one bottle. There is no cheaper way to make this smell true.
A single press on the throat or the back of the hand. Oud blooms slowly and lasts all day and into the next; in the cold it deepens. Never rub it in. This is an evening scent, and a cold-weather one.
