Built to project. The saffron is real — hand-graded crocus stigma from Pampore, not a synthetic safranal shortcut. A high oil load on amber and ambergris fixatives, matured before bottling. IFRA-compliant · batch GC/MS-verified.

What these measures mean
ConcentrationThe share of pure perfume oil in the bottle. Eau de parfum sits high — a richer scent that stays nearer the skin and lasts longer than a lighter eau de toilette.
LongevityHow long it holds on skin before fading to a whisper. Your warmth, the weather and dry or oily skin all shift the number.
SillageThe trail you leave — how far the scent travels. "Bold" fills a room; "intimate" is found only when someone leans close.
MacerationThe weeks the blended oils rest before bottling, so the notes marry into one another instead of merely mixing.

Saffron is the most expensive material on earth — and almost every "saffron" in modern perfumery is safranal, a synthetic that imitates its leathered, metallic glow. Ember is built on the real thing: crocus stigma hand-graded in Pampore, Kashmir, where the world's finest saffron has grown for a thousand years. It gives the fragrance a depth and a slightly edible warmth no synthetic can reach — the difference you can smell, and the reason the bottle is priced the way it is.

Every material in Ember is traceable to its source. The saffron from Pampore. The sandalwood from Mysore. The jasmine sambac from Madurai. We pay for the real grades because the radiance of an amber depends entirely on what sits underneath it.

One press is enough — Ember projects. To the throat and the backs of the wrists, before dinner, the evening, the room you want to be remembered in. Never rub; let it bloom on its own. In the cold it turns denser and lasts longer. Keep the bottle from heat and direct light and it will hold its character for years.

Composed by

"I wasn't chasing the famous saffron-amber everyone knows — I was trying to out-build it. Real Kashmir saffron, a creamier sandalwood underneath, less sugar. It glows instead of shouts."

The arc

How it moves on skin.

Opens First 20 minutes

A bright, almost metallic saffron and a snap of pink pepper — the spark before the fire catches.

Develops 20 min – 2 hours

Amber and jasmine bloom golden and full; the real saffron turns leathered and warm, a creamy Mysore sandalwood holding it down.

Stays 2 hours onward

A second skin of amber, cedar and resin — the trail a room keeps long after you've left it.

★★★★★

Wore it to a winter wedding and three people followed the trail to ask. The saffron reads as real.
